Computer, Writing

Donna Cheney

Sometimes my computer helps me write sentences so long that they
wrapby themselves.
Sometimes the sentences are
chopped
            too   short.
On screen, sentences seem to have a life of their           own.
Occasionally, with no seeming reason,
sentences have too too many words,
Or,, extra punctuation,
orr even exxtra letters in words.
I know that these are the result of REVISION,
which is, everyone says, so easy on the Machine that
errors are much less frequent.
They are right, and Wrong.
Sometimes the computer woos me into complacency.
I am so sure it's right I skim above the errors for Meaning,
    At LAST.
